Once an all Beech 1900D operator, CommutAir moved on from the mighty Beech to become an all Dash-8-200 operator. Recently, a demand for extra capacity was realized, and five larger fifty seat Dash-8-300 series aircraft were obtained from Austrian Airlines regional carrier Tyrolean Air. Following conversion to US standards and a repaint, the aircraft have been introduced one by one to the fleet with the most recent being N876CA, the fourth out of an eventual five.

About the author

Chuck Slusarczyk Jr.

I started OPShots in June 2006 as a place to share and display aviation photos without the often restrictive policies of other aviation websites. I want to share my love of aviation with fellow aviation geeks and provide a spotlight on Cleveland Hopkins International airport in the process.
