I guess I am missing what the date discussion is here. The date displays the date it was taken. That information is displayed along with the other stuff. What difference does it make when it was uploaded? If it appears on the front page it was uploaded recently.

On the main home page under the new pictures, there is a line that says "added_________" and it says the date/time that the photo was uploaded to the database.  This timestamp is automatically generated when a photographer pushes "upload" on the upload page.  The date that is input by the photographer is the date the picture was taken.  I was wondering if it would be possible to have both of these dates as part of the information displayed with each photograph in the gallery.  From time to time when searching for an aircraft or certain picture, etc., I have wondered when it was uploaded in comparison to when it was taken.  With how the pictures are sorted, I'm assuming the data is present, just not displayed.  I don't know how much of a task this would be; in my lack of web design knowledge, it seems to me it would be quite a task so I'm not sure if it's something you would want to tackle.  If it's much work, please don't worry about it.  The work you've done on the site is mind-blowing and I love it very much how it is!

Love the new look.  One thing is on my iPhone with the Opera Mini browser it won't let me switch to the non-mobile version of the site.  With Safari it's fine, when I click the mobile-view switch at the bottom the blue confirmation window pops up but with Opera I don't get that window to confirm and it just stays on the mobile version.

I like Opera because it's faster but if it can't be done it can't be done, thought I'd let you know.

Agreed. Updated to different theme for mobile. With text link to change from mobile to full.

Is there a way to share a picture from the gallery on Facebook? I can't seem to locate the button any longer since the update.

Right now there is not. Working on the skinning and gallery functions still.

Update - Gallery re-skin continues to match the rest of the layout. Most pages are done, however still working on the individual cell colors inside each photo information boxes. I took away all the little buttons and different links to upload, search, comments etc....the reason for this is to keep all the navigation in the main menu. Just use the Gallery in the navigation menu and then a pull down or drop down menu appears to select the various gallery pages. This keeps everything uniform without having to search around the page to do what you want.

Should have reported this earlier but after the mobile version of the site was changed I could switch to the full site via that text link but a week ago I think it stopped working both on Opera and Safari.

Hi Corey,

Thanks for letting us know.  I don't use mobile devices so I had no idea about this.  Mark is on vacation right now, but I'm sure he will look at it the first chance he gets.  Thanks for the head's up!
