i just want everyone to know, that if i become independently wealthy i will buy that building and turn it into the opshots spotting center.  I will broadcast the tower freq. from speakers, i will have a soda machine, and a nice deck.

that is all.

Just to let you guys know, since at least Feb 20, the Zin building has not been blocked off. I have been there several times (most recently March 21) and it is completely open, I have even seen some other spotters there whenever I go.

Just thought I would let you guys know, its open for spotting. Better get some in before they decide to close it again. Funny story, I think I may actually be the one responsible for getting unblocked, because on the 20th when I went there were 2 guys (I assume working for whatever company owns the place) clearing furniture out of the building into a van supposedly getting ready to demolish the building (they could have been robbers for all I know lol). I asked if I could drive in and take some photos and they said sure, and I guess they forgot to close the place back up because it hasn't been blocked since.

If they ever put the block back up, you can park in the little brown brick building right up the road from Zin and walk over to the parking lot, which I did several times before it re opened.

Thanks for the update.  All my efforts to find out what's going on with that place have been met with unreturned phone calls and nothing but frustration on my part.  I did go by there the other day and noticed the yellow tape had been removed, but I was still hesitant to go in there.

I would still be cautious when there, but would be interested to hear if anyone else has had any success trying it out again.

I drove by there the other day Friday April 6th. Four or five vehicles were there and they are gutting the place. Did not stay but want to go back maybe in the evening.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Just a further update on the status of the lot, a few weeks ago when I went there one of the Cleveland Police officers that patrol the perimeter road of the airport stopped and asked if I was getting any good shots, so he obviously didn't seem to care I was there.
