Not only did he get to fly in a P-51, but he got to fly in formation during the Heritage Flight with an A-10 and F-4 Phantom over downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie. Cannot possibly get much better then that!

Interesting local trivia- in the 1950's this very aircraft served with the 112th Fighter Squadron, Ohio ANG, at the Akron Canton Airport (CAK) and was based in what is now the MAPS Museum Hangar. 	N5427V (cn 44-72942) Petie 2nd. 1945: 12th AF, WWII Vet, shipped home and served with various ANG units. 1957: sold surplus for $755.00 !Then changed a few hands bought in 1985 by Anthony Buechler. He has flown this P-51 for over 2000 hours in the last 21 years! It has never been raced or wrecked. It is on its third engine now and going strong with a set of Roush pistons. [Best viewed at 1152]
