Southwest plane makes emergency landing in Cleveland

Southwest Airlines CLE TowerCLEVELAND – A Southwest airplane was diverted to Cleveland and made an emergency landing after an equipment problem Monday morning.

The landing happened at about 10:15 a.m.

According to Jackie Mayo with Cleveland Hopkins Airport, the plane was headed from Chicago to Providence when it reported a hydraulic failure. It was able to land safely in Cleveland
