A jet belonging to Ernest Angley Ministries “landed hard” at the Akron-Canton Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

Kristie Van Auken, spokeswoman for the airport, said the plane and tire debris were quickly removed from the runway. Commercial flights were not interrupted by the incident, which happened around noon.

Five people were on board and no one was injured. The pilot did not provide airport officials with a manifest.

As a result, Van Auken said she did not know if Angley, whose ministry is based in Cuyahoga Falls, was on the plane or how many passengers or crew members were on board.
