Akron Canton Airport officials have reported a steep drop in passengers since the COVID-19 outbreak has rocked the aviation industry. With those passenger reductions come significant schedule reductions as well.

As of 03/24/2020, airlines have reported to the following service reductions at CAK:

American Airlines -- Akron, OH (CAK) to New York, NY (LGA) // From 1x daily to 1x weekly // ERJ-175 // Until June

Spirit Airlines -- Akron, OH (CAK) to Fort Myers, FL (RSW) // 1x daily // Airbus A319 // Route eliminated indefinitely

Spirit Airlines -- Akron, OH (CAK) to Tampa, FL (TPA) // 1x daily // Airbus A319 // Route eliminated indefinitely

United Airlines -- Akron, OH (CAK) to Washington, D.C. (IAD) // 1x daily // ERJ-145 // Route suspended, resumption unclear

United Airlines -- Akron, OH (CAK) to Houston, TX (IAH) // 1x daily // Route eliminated indefinitely

These reductions leave CAK serving 4 fewer cities.
