Pittsburgh International Airport will pay WOW air $800,000 over two years to subsidize new service to Reykjavik, Iceland.  PIT will pay Condor $500,000 to subsidize new service to Frankfurt, Germany. Service to Reykjavik begins on June 16, 2017. Seasonal service to Frankfurt begins June 23, 2017. PIT also offers seasonal service to Paris on Delta Air Lines.

Cleveland Hopkins offered WOW up to $400,000 as a subsidy to be used over three years for this route.

Another version of the story says Wow said yes to PIT, but didn't specifically say no to CLE.  Not sure what that means, but hope is apparently not dead.
