Looks like single runway ops for a few days next week while 24R/6L is closed to put the threshold back to its original location on 24R. 

 

October 17th @ 2200 Runway 6L-24R closed

October 20th @ 0600 Runway 6L-24R opens at 9000 ft

It's the 24R approach end. The threshold was displaced during all the construction on runway 28/10.

I thought it seemed aircraft were setting down awfully far down the runway!  That explains it!

Yes they were, and yes it does!  They're almost finished though, so we should be back to "normal" soon!
