You know what...now that you mention it, that was the way it worked for me too...I got a first mail, and then a second one. I just assumed I did something wrong, but obviously there's more to it. We are looking at the avatar issue as well...I like them myself, I'm expecting an answer soon on that.

Keep in mind everyone...this is an interim phase here, more will will be done this evening. Appreciate your patience!

This setup is kind of dorky looking. LOL!

I had the same problem. I received the first email, and went back to the forums. I couldn't remember the specifics of what all we needed beyond redoing our passwords, so I re-registered, then went back to my password.

By then, I had received the second password.

This setup is kind of dorky looking. LOL! Yeah, well it's not done yet! Like I said, this is sort of the "interim" look, and it does take some getting used to! Improvements are on the way.

I know that there is some kind of issue with the multiple emails to get your passwords reset, and it seems to be effecting everyone.

What would REALLY be dorky, would be no forum at all! LOL. We're looking at other formats, so hopefully we'll hit on one that makes the most people happy. It's tough shopping for these things and then implementing them, but the toughest part is trying to please everyone...I wish we could!

Boy, what a shock to the system to see this new format suddenly..... 🙂 Change is always hard to accept, but is necessary for growth. I for one am glad to see this change, it means we're growing!!! 🙂 As always, thanks for giving us a great playground guys!!!!

I, too, had the same issue with the password emails. But, as you can tell, I made it through the gauntlet.

Will there be a notification of new posts within the forums? It was nice to have some indication of what was new since the last visit. If there is something that shows it already, I have overlooked it.

Right now the only way to see new posts is to click on latest discussions under views in the right hand sidebar. We are looking at a different theme too.

How many formats are there?

I'd say something similar to the other formats that we've had on here. As long as it's easy to navigate, that should be fine.
