Apologize I'm late to the party - but it looks great!  I tried the login on the home page and it didn't work but when I clicked on the forums I was logging in anyway so don't know if that's a big issue or not.  Thanks for all the hard work!

I'll just throw one more little glitch in there now...the rotating stories on the front page are getting cut off at the bottom.

The login for the front page is totally different from the forums page. It is not necessary to register for the blog which is the font page log-inregister area. Right now there is no Wordpress-SMF bridge that is trustworthy so we cannot have a all in one log-in at this time. We may later down the road covert to a wordpress integrated forum. But that is down the road. Of course we would need an integrated 'other gallery' like we have on the forums now as well so this is a shelf project for now. Dont worry we wont do it until we can insure all postsphotos would be transfered and users from the forums too!

Hmm. They are not cut off on my computer. I have IE and Firefox showing them fine. Are you using that work PC again?

No, I'm at home, but they are showing fine now.  It was cutting off the bottom lines and the links to the rest of the stories.  They showed fine on the work computers too.  But like I said, it looks just fine now.

After a couple of days getting used to it, I like the enhancements but kind of miss having the gallery pics/latest photos/ top pics of the week right near the top.  To me, that's usually my main reason to visit, followed by what's being discussed in the forums.

We certainly can make changes like that quickly now. The ability to change the layout quickly was the biggest reason we decided to go with wordpress. We don't want everything at the top though cause that means everything below it would never be looked at. You might missing something below.

Status update:

Gallery Stats is now up. There is a link under Gallery in the main menu and also when you click on top photos from the front page.

Re-ordered the front page sidebar. What do you think?

Registration for the blog is disabled once again. There is a bug with it somewhere so for now I turned it off. If you want to comment on the various articles on the new site then you can use your Facebook login. If you dont want to do that you can type your name and e-mail in the comment area and comment away. I will have this up and running as soon as humanly possible.

Thanks for hanging in there and please continue to let us know of anything you see wrong.
