Another plane that wandered over downtown ATL. This Waco circled 3 times before full powering and heading off to the north.Found out later this thing's made in 1999 by WACO Classic Aircraft as the model YMF-F5C. Owned by the Bi-Plane Rides over Atlanta INC. I never knew they existed. Explains why it was darting around downtown.

Powered by a 300hp John Deere 6081H Natural Gas fueled engine connected to an Allison B400R6 six speed automatic transmission.

That may be based at PDK.  A yellow bi-plane gives rides from PDK to Stone Mountain or downtown Atlanta and back to PDK.

Yes, that was a great article!  I got to get up close and personal with one of the new generation Waco's a couple years ago at the Port Clinton Fly-in...beautiful birds!
