N8934E (cn 47143) (Best at 1152 size.) Taxiing out for departure on a beautiful spring evening in 2007, this Northwest workhouse was in its final days and went home to the smelter after it was broken up in Opa Locka in 2008.

Yeah, I do love the DC9,workhorse, they don't make em like this anymore, thats for sure.

I think they only have a couple of these -30 series left and I think they are on the way out. They do seem to be keeping the -50's, and those are the ones wearing the DL colors now. Don't know about the -40's.

Hell yea they still fly. A many of these ole 9s are repainted in Delta's new colors.
