XR808 (cn 828) Well this was a shock to see .. a Royal Air Force VC-10 parked inside the old Northwest hangar back in the early 90's.. I remember them doing maintenance on the plane but other than that not sure why it was here..Might have been the only time A VC-10 was here in CLE..a Sabre Cargo DC-3 also was in the hangar at the time..This aircraft is still active today,built in 1966...44years old...amazing!

Cool! I remember seeing a VC-10 depart from Lakewood way back then..Maybe this was it..I thought I was seeing things.

I remember this...it was right about the time I started at the airport in '92. I have an inflight magazine (yes...they had them) from this very visit! I didn't see it myself though, unfortunately.
