Would you believe this is the first time I saw this photo? I am the late Marlon Green's brother. I attended the dedication, but had to return to Seattle before its maiden flight to Washington, DC. Obviously, I miss him dearly. He was such an inspiritation to many of us from El Dorado, AR. |

Huh? It's a little unclear, but I believe you are saying that you are surprised that back in the day it was hard for Marlon Green to get that job...and it was. And I agree with your opinion that discrimination should just go away...your color has nothing to do with your abilities...or anything for that matter. |

I'm surprised that the airline did that. Considering there is still a lot of racial discrimination in the world. I wish that the race block for applications would disappear all together. There for people no matter what race would get a call back if they meet their requirements. |
