N836D (cn 45345) This fantastically restored DC-7B was originally delivered to Eastern Airlines on 1/23/58. 50+ years later, she is being pushed back with a load of enthusiasts for a one hour ride over the Michigan countryside in the original Eastern Scheme. And for those who wonder, its $300 for a one hour ride.

I believe it...I would have had goosebumps for sure! (That happens to me a lot around the classics! LOL!) Wouldn't a charter flight be nice?? :-)

Chuck- I so wanted to go- sometime soon for sure! Maybe an Opshots charter flight? I do not know the last time I saw a DC-7 fly, but seeing it takeoff and later come in with the typical nose low approach attitude was alone worth the trip to Michigan.
