80-0258 (cn A10-0608) Photographed during a heavy rain shower at Burke Lakefront, this A-10 is based with the 107 FS, 127 Wing, MI ANG at Selfridge ANGB. On April 8, 2003, this aircraft was hit by a SAM missle over Baghdad, and lost the rear half of its starboard engine. Fortunately, the plane and pilot made it safely back to base.
