N87RM (cn 39) This is a rare photo taken at Denver Stapleton of this aircraft in the current Continental colors. I took this photo as I was about to board this aircraft on a short trip to Steamboat Springs. My incentive for the trip was not for skiing, it was only to be able to fly on a four-propellered aircraft! I enjoyed it very much, and after a two night stay, flew back to Stapleton and from there returned to Cleveland. This aircraft is still flying today as C-GLOL for Voyageur Airways. Spring 1994

Yes, rare! Also, nice. I have a ramp service manual somewhere for the Continental Express DHC-7s.

You are correct! A rather short runway at SBS, but the Dash 7 seemed to handle it well.

and if i remember right, you flew into SBS, not HDN where everyone going to Steamboat flies to now.
