N1011 (cn 193A-1001) my 500th upload to Opshots............N1011 serial number 001 is the prototype of the first Lockheed Tristar ever produced,in Lockheed colors and the only colors it ever wore. Shown here in CLE back in 1981. I remember it being here for two days but don't know why it was here. It was stored at ADM, Ardmore Oklahoma, and finally broken up. They saved this fuselage, painted in Delta colors.. and it became part of the Delta Heritage Museum at ATL

Wowee. I remember getting word that this plane was coming to Hopkins, waited for it all day and saw it land back in 1981. This is one heckuva classic. Thanks for putting this on. It made my day. Congrats on the 500 milestone!
