They won't be lettered for the USAF either. It's an Army aircraft assigned to an Air Force wing, operated by an Air Force crew. http://avstop.com/news2/air_national_guard_to_have_its_own_fleet_of_aircraft_c27j.htm

They haven't been labeled yet with the Mansfield 179th colors. We just got them recently (from the US Army); it's part of the base closure and restructuring thing. I haven't even been out to get any pictures of them yet, but have been itching to do so!

Agreed, nice catch. That's interesting how a plane from the 179th ANG has US Army on the fuselage.
