N838CA / 356 (cn 527) I got lucky today when the crew of CommutAir's newest aircraft decided to take the long way to the hangar bringing it right by my perch, using the opportunity to practice taxiing on one engine...a task the -200 series is apparently unable to do.

What you saw with the one engine taxi was an aircraft with an issue. That engine stopped responding to any power lever inputs and also dc gen got hot due to paint shop forgetting tape on cooling air duct. The aircraft including the 200's can be single engine taxied but not recommended. Mechanics need permission from DOM to single engine taxi.
