Hi Gail. Wow, what a cool story! Have you seen any of the other pics we have from there? There's not too many, but there's some really neat ones. I'll send you a personal email about the photo, can you check to make sure the address is correct please? I don't think the "rnrn" is supposed to be in there! |

My name is Gail Walker and I would like to get a copy of this postcard if possible. I spent many a summer on Put-In-Bay island and I am the niece of Ted Eriksen for whom the airport is now named. rnRegards, Gail rnrnwalker.gail@ymail.com |

I never did get to fly on the Island Airlines Tri-motor, but did fly on the EAA Tr-motor. That was a great experience. They are currently restoring a Tri-Motor at Port Clinton, see more here: http://www.trimotorheritagefoundation.org/aboutus.html |

How neat! I got to fly on one of Island Airlines' Trimotors when I was a kid, I've never forgotten it! I was amazed that after we took off from Port Clinton, the wheel on the right side never stopped turning for the duration of the flight to Put In Bay! Ah...memories! |
