N705GG (cn 48) American International Airways Dash 7 parked in front of the United hanger back in 1983..Started in 1981 American Intl was based out of PHL and flew out of midwestern cities to Florida including CLE. They didnt last long ,shutting down in Sep 1984...Unusual to see the Dash 7 here, CLE was mostly serviced by a DC-9-30

Wow the only Dash 7 operator I remember back in the day was Air Wisconsin, great shot and capture!

I originally had 1 or 2 AIA DC-9's pics uploaded to the old gallery, one in their white scheme and one in their blue scheme but they seemed to have disappeared. I'll see if I can dig them up again.

Great one George! I may have seen them, but dont remember them at all. Do you have a shot of the DC-9 for that airline as well? Looks like a Comair Bandairate and US Air DC-9 to the right. Sure was some variety back then.
