Yes, the photographer wasn't certain about the date which was why we put "circa" in the comments, but you are helping us pinpoint it a bit better, and for that, thanks!

Correction....People Express recieved the 1st 747 in January of 1983.

I'm certain this shot was taken later than 1982. People Express didn't get their first 747 until May of 1983. Also, Midway "Metrolink" wasn't started until 1983. I still have a deck of cards from flying on a "Metrolink" DC-9-15 from MDW-CLE in early 1985.
