None (cn None) Looking down the approach end of the new Runway 9L (now 10/28) at CLE in January, 1951. The concrete still looks pretty fresh! Note Brookpark road to the left, and the newly constructed Ford plant to the right. A Constellation and DC-3 can be seen on the ramp. Hard to see looking at the picture, the roadway was lower than the runway surface, and the trees were a lower growing variety.

That is awesome! Wonder why they would plant those trees so close to the end of the runways.
