Unknown (cn Unknown) One of four DC-8-61's registered to Eastern, this photo was taken from the Cleveland Control Tower on March 11, 1972. The stretch 8 sure dwarfs the old concourse! Also in the picture is an Air Canada Viscount. The old observation deck and concession stand are readily apparent. A photo from my personal collection.

WOW,great photo..I remember the Eastern DC-8-61,s coming into CLE around 8:30pm.The observation deck was a great place to photograph too!. Nice talking to you at the show!

Boy does this bring back some great memories! I knew that observation deck well, and clearly remember the .10 cents turnstiles you had to go through to go out there. Had many a lunch with my parents and grandparents at that concession stand. Thanks for sharing.
