| N27BB (cn 001) This aircraft was an experimental aircraft testing the concept of \\\"blown-wing technology\\\". It is powered by a single Pratt & Whitney JT-15D jet engine where the thrust was blown over the wings providing extra lift and maneuverability at very low speeds. However, this design proved to be too complicated and only this one aircraft was built. It is on display at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. |
