N115MP (cn 2087) At the time of this photo, there were still a few operators of the beautiful Japanese YS-11 in the states. Airborne Express and Mid-Pacific Air probably had the most at the time and all were in cargo configuration. Even so, Mid-Pacific was a rare visitor indeed. Sadly, most YS-11's are gone from the skies, and I sure miss the sound of Rolls Royce Dart engines! June 1992
