Originally constructed as a C-53D by Douglas at Santa Monica, CA in March 1943, flown by the US Army Air Corp in WWII in Africa, Sicily, & England, then modified to a Douglas DC-3A on March 1946 by the TIMM Aircraft Company, Van Nuys, CA. Now wearing Thunderbird Flying Services markings, it is operated by the Wings of Valor Llc, Perris, CA.
