Located in Lake Nicaragua, Concepcion last erupted in 2005, and is one of two volcanoes, the other being Maderas, that form the island of Ometepe. At 5,135 square miles, Lake Nicaragua is the twentieth largest lake in the world, and the largest lake in Central America. March 14, 2007
