N965LL / N600XL (cn 14500965) This one must be close to leaving us after a major repair job. Seen here on its way to far end of the field, probably on some sort of maintenance check.

N965LL / N600XL (cn 14500965) The repairs continue on N960LL, the Legacy that was on its delivery flight (as N600XL) when it collided with a GOL 737 (PR-GTD) over Brazil in September 2006, resulting in the deaths of all 154 on board. It recently received a new wing and is undergoing other extensive repairs at the Constant Aviation facility near the airport entrance. This is the first time I've seen it away from the hangar since it arrived in November 2010, and is performing some engine run-ups and other tests. The cargo door is open, and other pieces still need to be installed, but she's looking a lot better!

N965LL / N600XL (cn 14500965) Well. after it seems like months in the hangar,Legacy N965LL (I believe its the same reg)was out today. Most of us know this was the damaged EMB-135 that came to CLE to get repaired..It looks like a lot of progress has been made...The engines are back on, the APU looks to be installed and a entire new wing and winglet has been put on...if you look close on the left side of the photo about in the middle, the old wing with the damaged winglet can be seen...I didn't even notice that until i looked at the picture...We'll have to see how much longer it will be until it is operational again!

N965LL / N600XL (cn 14500965) Still undergoing extensive maintenance, this is the Legacy involved in a collision while on its delivery flight with PR-GTD, a two-week old GOL 737 over the Brazilian jungle on September 29, 2006, with tragic results for all aboard the Boeing. The winglet that sliced the 737's wing is still missing, as are other parts that are to be replaced or repaired. At the time of the accident, the Legacy was registered as N600XL, and when it was ferried for repairs to CLE on November 19, 2010, it wore N965LL, but currently displays no registration at all.

N965LL (cn 14500965) This is the Legacy involved in a midair back on Sept. 29, 2006 with a Gol Boeing 737 when it was on it's delivery flight over Brazil. It's registration was N600XL at the time of the accident. The Legacy was able to land safely. The new owner contracted Constant Aviation to recover and repair the aircraft, a process that started in 2007. The aircraft arrived in Ft Lauderdale last night and is seen here arriving in CLE this morning on it's ferry flight where it will receive a new wing and a heavy check.
