N636NA (cn 155390) This OV-10A was based at the NASA Lewis Research Center (Now Glenn Research Center)at Cleveland Hopkins Airport conducting Acoustic research. The test boom on the nose was a special addition to this aircraft for those tests. This particular OV-10A was the first production version of its type to be delivered, and was manufactured in Columbus, Ohio. Photographed somewhere over Ohio on one of its test trips. To confuse matters somewhat, NASA also flew a C-47 out of Lewis with the exact same registration number, and must have transferred that reg number once the C-47 was retired and gave it to the OV-10 aircraft.
