N99MF (cn 3004) This was sadly Jims last flight, aircraft crashed into runway and slid off into the grass pretty much right in front of us. As you can see it was some distance away but you can clearly make out the aircraft structure.

N99MF (cn 3004) Highly modified Pitts S2S. Sadly this would be Jims last successful performance. This was his first flight of the day. The second flight, flown later in the afternoon while performing Marys Lamb a trio of performers including Skip Stewart and the Shockwave Jet truck as well as Leroys plane.

During the second performance Jim crashed while at the bottom of a roll/loop and was fatally injured. He died doing what he loved performing in front of his fans...rest in Peace!
