| PH-BUF (cn 21659) Parked at the IAB building (next to BA DC-10-30, "Benmore Forest") on a cloudy day in Houston, you would be forgiven if you misidentified this as a -300 or -400 series 747. In fact, it is a -200SUD with the "stretched upper deck" feature and went on to fly for quite a few more years with KLM and was last reported with Thai Sky airlines. Named for Sir William E. Kingsford Smith the famous Australian aviator, it shares the name with Sydney's International airport. 1992 | |||
