162885 / 222 (cn 434/B076) This hornet, apparently previously operated by NASA, is the Medal of Honor bird representing 4 recipients, 2 Marines and 2 Sailors. Came in with 2 other "Sharpshooters" and only performed this touch and go before leaving the others who made full stops. VMFAT-101 \\\"Sharpshooters\\\" MCAS Miramar |

161723 / 7 (cn 0073/B022) US Navy Blue Angel #7 departs CLE RWY 24L back to NAS Pensacola. He kept it low (but fast) enabling a few shots during the departure. Can't wait to see them again in September (2010). |

161746 (cn 0103/B030) A rare sight in CLE in December. The #7 US Navy Blue Angel taxies to the ramp after arriving in CLE for the first planning meeting for the 2008 Cleveland National Air Show. Guess who's going to be the star attraction next year? |

161746 (cn 0103/B030) The #7 US Navy Blue Angel on the ramp at Air Services with CLE Tower in the background. The crew had just arrived and hadn't shut down yet. The aircraft was soon pushed into the hangar for the overnight stay. The aircraft left the next morning before sunrise so I missed a shot at the departure. |

161746 (cn 161746) Angel-7 departs BKL at sunset enroute to NAS Oceana. The Seagull in the foreground adds to the beautiful shot but is a threat to any aircraft and its crew. |

161746 (cn 0103/B030) Blue Angel #7 makes a quick trip to Oceana, VA. for a parts run for the #2 aircraft. The rare treat on takeoff was an impressive sight. If you look close you'll see the water curtain trailing behind #7. If you look below #7 you'll notice a boat, which got quite a suprise as #7 departs over his head. What do you think was going through the boaters' minds?? |
