| SE-LVO (cn 42.095) On short final at St. Maarten, this Diamond Twinstar is actually taking a little break from its worldwide tour as the vehicle for the World Flight for Hearing, which went from March through August 2006. This aircraft was circumnavigating the globe with a Swedish crew to raise awareness for the hearing impaired, and was the first light aircraft to do so. I can't believe I caught it during this historic flight! (Click the registration for more photos.) | |||
