Multiple (cn Multiple) Saturday afternoon bank-time and the outbounds are all lined up for a 06R departure. There were actually more than the thirteen aircraft visible in this photo, but I just couldn't catch them all! May 26, 2007 |

70-1316 (cn 70-1316) Wonderful Flyby and I love how the guy is sitting on the open cargo door watching the action. Would be some amazing pictures from his view! The helicopter is a Sikorsky HH-60 Pave Hawk. Spotlight Edit: What can I say? I felt like I was up there with them when I saw this shot. This is a demonstration I have never seen in person, and I keep trying to imagine the sound as they flew by... |

N14342 (cn 23580) This aircraft wasn't supposed to be back in service for two more days, but was called upon to operated CO1545 to Houston after the original aircraft (N59338-uploaded separately), made an emergency return to Cleveland after ingesting some gulls into its number one engine on departure. I believe this to be the first photo anywhere of this aircraft since being fitted with winglets. May 26, 2007 |

N59338 (cn 23576) This is Continental Airlines' flight 1545 to Houston which has just made an emergency return to Hopkins minutes after suffering a bird strike on departure. Here, the 737 is just exiting runway 06L and is being chased by the emergency vehicles present to make sure there are no immediate safety concerns. After returning to the gate it was determined that the number one engine had ingested at least one gull, and some of the blades were damaged. May 26, 2007 |

N712SK / N75983 (cn 10172) A picture of two of United's Express partners passing on the ramp on a rainy day in Cleveland. Inbound, is a Skywest CRJ700 heading for B-07 passing an outbound CRJ200 of Mesa Airlines which just departed the same gate. The now sadly closed outdoor observation deck can be seen above gate B-09, a place which many OPShots members remember fondly . May 26, 2007 |

N271LV (cn 29090) This is the infamous ex-Ford Motor Company aircraft that Southwest has been flying around in this hybrid scheme since at least November of last year. This is also the first time I have seen this aircraft here in Cleveland, so it was a bit of a treat this day. May 26, 2007 |
