N151AM / N51JB (cn 4473420 ) Formation takeoff! Never thought I would get to see two P-51s do this outside an air show. |

N51JB (cn 44-73029) A great looking P-51D Mustang at the Thunder over Michigan Air Show. Interesting local trivia- in the 1950's this very aircraft served with the 112th Fighter Squadron, Ohio ANG, at the Akron Canton Airport (CAK) and was based in what is now the MAPS Museum Hangar. For a picture of this airplane in OH ANG markings, see here:rnhttp://www.swissmustangs.ch/20214/20268.html |
