| N965LL / N600XL (cn 14500965) Still undergoing extensive maintenance, this is the Legacy involved in a collision while on its delivery flight with PR-GTD, a two-week old GOL 737 over the Brazilian jungle on September 29, 2006, with tragic results for all aboard the Boeing. The winglet that sliced the 737's wing is still missing, as are other parts that are to be replaced or repaired. At the time of the accident, the Legacy was registered as N600XL, and when it was ferried for repairs to CLE on November 19, 2010, it wore N965LL, but currently displays no registration at all. |
