81-0967 (cn A10-0662) It's a gun that they decided to make fly. The aircraft was built around the gun, not the other way round. The gun has a rate of fire of 2,100/min if using one engine (gun engine) or 4,200/min if using two engines. That's between 35 & 70 rounds per second!

81-0967 (cn A10-0662) Maj. Dylan "HABU" Thorpe waves to the crowd after an awesome tac-demo. This A-10 took a missile hit over Kosovo on 2 MAY 1999. Great to see her still flying!

81-0967 (cn A10-0662) New Thunderbolt into the database. She put on quite a show while the Phantom and P-51 awaited her for the heritage flight. She made several passes around downtown between our sky scrapers. Here she is climbing up and will soon bank around the KEY tower. Stunning!!
