Ha ha!  Thanks!  Well...I don't feel older than 49!

In other news...I MADE IT!!!  I'm here in Anchorage and just checked into my room!  🙂  I'm already overwhelmed about this place...incredible scenery and airplanes, and I haven't even gone anywhere yet!

Getting ready to head out and explore the area...it's still nice and light here...kinda like 6:00PM at home.  I'm just gonna stay near the hotel tonight because I'm kinda tired, but my adrenalin is going too, and I need to go to Lake Hood across the street.  Unfortunately, I can't see it from my room because it's blocked by a building, but I can hear the planes...gotta run, more later!!

Boy, I don't know what kind they are...I'm not a train-ee, but there was one in the front and one in the rear...the rear one has the numbers 4317, and the lead one has 3015 on it.  Black and yellow, both, and they had passenger cars in between, including a couple with the raised roofs.  I haven't downloaded them yet, so I can't see if there's a make on them somewhere.  You'll see them soon!
