Can anyone recommend some easy-to-use software that can shrink pics (and videos) taken with my iPhone 4 camera (which I cannot seem to change the resolution on), without losing some of the clarity. I'm NOT a photographer by any means, so I really don't want to spend any money, if at all possible (e.g. freeware), and need something idiot-proof. All my pics are 1.5-3.0 MB large which prevents me from uploading them in some sites. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

if you are shrinking them for use on your computer, then get XP powertoys Image resizer:

I'm still using Windows Vista, so the first one did not work. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

In Vista, you can use "Paint".  It's under START - PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES.  Open the JPG file (FILE - OPEN) you want to shrink, then click on IMAGE - RESIZE/SKEW.  You will have to enter the same percentage in the RESIZE Horizontal/Vertical boxes so it doesn't distort the picture.  Then just FILE - SAVE AS, and that's it.  This is the super basic method, no control over image quality or anything else.  But it will shrink the picture...

Thanks for your suggestions. I finally found one that worked on my computer: VSO Image Resizer. I posted some pics in the Trip Talk board.
