Interesting...I was wondering who would take over for USA 3000.  I think they are down to just two or three aircraft now, aren't they?  It'll be nice to see Frontier birds here!

Cool!

Yesterday Frontier applied for a CLE-CUN route, so the Apple flights will be open to the general public, just as the USA3000 flights were.  4x weekly are planned.

Yes, it will be neat to see Frontier here, but it's still kinda sad that USA3000 is no more.  They were never a large carrier, but they were certainly part of our everyday fabric here at Hopkins.  I hope all their workers have found new employment, and I wish them all the best!

Frontier has also applied for the old USA 3000 route to Punta Cana (CLE-PUJ).  That will probably give them 4-5 flights a week during the coldest months.

Wow, they may become as much of a fixture as USA3000 was…cool.  Speaking of USA 3000, maybe you would know this Massey…

I was under the impression that Getaway's last CLE flights were to be 12/5 and 6, and I haven't seen any since then, but there was one here on the 23rd!  Operated as GWY366 to RSW.  Are they still flying just a bit?  How many aircraft left, just the one?

USA3000 is keeping RSW service going to the last, finally shrinking to one plane operating out of Chicago. It's supposed to end in January, I believe.

I heard that a combination of high fixed costs, small scale, fuel prices, and pending heavy checks killed them.
