^^^ which is why you don't see me out there anymore. With gas prices the way they are, I have to pick my battles. I'd rather altitude spot from my backyard...much more to see. Plus, all the beer I can drink!

DJ - that was funny - I know what you mean! Chris - you forgot to mention no hassles from security either!

LOL! Yeah, that's pretty much how it is, isn't it? I'm with Chris...can't wait for the weather to get a bit warmer so I can sit on my deck with a beer and my camera! (Of course, actual CONTRAILS would help...they've been pretty scarce lately...at least on my days off!)

I should not complain so much. I live in Berea, just a 5-10 ride from the action at Hopkins. Sometimes getting over there on the way home from work is great stress relief, while other times the endless parade of RJ's is worth the wait when something unexpected shows up. A good example is Tuesday evening while waiting for the FedEx to arrive. It was running 45 minutes late, but sticking out the wait kept me around to see an Alliance Air Charter FA-20C come in. Never saw one before. Got to stop by the cargo area on the way home and get some good pics in the fading sunlight. Made the whole evening worth the effort for me.

I am with DJ. A RJ is better than NOJ in my book any-day. It is a stress reliever for me. Runway therapy I call it.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Oh, I agree...I didn't mean to sound as if I didn't enjoy it, I was laughing at DJ's description. It does seem that way sometimes, but the "gems" do make it all worthwhile!
