And FYI, the plane is parked at what is now the "A" concourse. Gate A-14 to be exact. The position is evident by the Sheraton in the left-hand side of the photo! |

Cool...thanks for confirming this. I have a vague recollection of going to the airport to pick my dad up from business trips and seeing these A310s. |

You are exactly right! Off to DTW then LGW..Delta did fly that route for a short while ..Northwest eventually took over the DTW-LGW route |

If memory serves me correctly the A310s went to DTW then on to London Gatwick. I think Delta operated the route for a short time after they took over some of Pan Am's assets. someone correct me if I'm wrong. I was 16 in 1991 so my memory may be off a bit. |
