| 163626 / B-226 (cn A028) Another one of my favorite shots- The pilot of this T-45A must have had a hot date back in Kingsville, TX because I cannot think of any reason why you would be taking off into this strong storm approaching Burke! However I am not sure who was less intelligent, him for taking off seconds before this storm hit, or me for riding out a strong thunderstorm with cloud to ground lightning by holding onto a metal tent pole while the tent disinegrated around me! Based at NAS Kingsville, and flying with VT-22, the A model pictured here had the older analog cockpit gauges, while the "C" models had glass cockpits. |
