Kinda interesting would like to know role of this aircraft? from the hopper under fuselage makes me think that it sprays herbicides in that marshy environment?

As a small kid ('80-'87) I lived in between MLB and Patrick AFB. The Air Tractor is a far cry from the U-2s and F-4s based there back then.

Cool plane. I saw an article in this week's Aviation Week where Air Tractor is arming these with missiles and gun pods for possible use as close air support and trying to sell them to the government for that role.
