The T-39 is marked US Navy on the port side, and Marines on the starboard side. The T-39 is a classic- it uses the same wing as the F-86 Sabre. Remember when Bob Hoover used to demo the Sabre at the Cleveland Air Show? Loops, rolls, the whole bit. I will post a shot of the port side of this plane as well. |

Interesting it now says "Marines"...when it was painted it said "Navy". Nice! |
