N9028C / N57875 (cn 31076) A 1954 Cessna 180 is docked on the shore outside the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum overshadowed by the "Queen of Dago Lake", a PBY-5A (OA-10A) Catalina/Canso that was rescued after forty years on Dago Lake where it made a forced landing on September 30, 1947 following departure from Elmendorf Air Force Base. Missing all of its fabric parts and quite a few other pieces as well, I wonder what the plans for this plane are? |
