N529B / 44-62070 (cn 11547) (Best at 1152) Not something you see flying over your house everyday, this is "Fifi" the last airworthy B-29 Superfortress in the world. (N529B / cn 44-62070) I heard this awesome rumbling and knew something good was coming, so I rushed out on my deck with my camera, but I didn't catch this shot until it came back for another pass an hour later! I didn't know at the time that Fifi was taking part in the Commemorative Air Force Airpower History Tour (http://www.airpowersquadron.org/#!akron-oh/crlm) at Akron-Fulton Airport, and these passes were part of paid flight trips for aficionados and aviation buffs. What an awesome sound from those engines, and a great way to start my day today! 6/19/13

She flew by my school just barely in sight today on her way to Dayton. I'm going to be riding on it this Saturday. It was pretty sweet seeing it outside an air show.

Nice catch from home plate! I just happened to look out my office window as it was going by yesterday morning, and immediately Googled the FIFI web site to see what was going on. Like you, I had no idea Akron Fulton was hosting the Airpower History Tour. I would have liked to take a ride in that C-45, if I would have known ahead of time...

Beautiful! I heard it come by Hopkins but missed the opportunity. Great shot!
